We will be discussing diabetic nephropathy in type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
I hope you leave with an understanding of what Diabetic nephropathy is, its natural history, how one screens for this complication of diabetes and how we may prevent or at least slow the progression of this complication.
I will try to point out where there are differences in knowledge and treatment of type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
